      Title
TCIA Staff Support for NLST Data Management and Semantic Integration of NLST Study Data
      Summary
TCIA staff require full access to NLST data as part of their ongoing maintenance of these collections within the TCIA framework. This access implies NO use of the data. In addition, TCIA staff are researching advanced data management tools to permit better access to NLST study data. This involves research into semantic data integration using NLST trial data currently managed by the TCIA Web Query Tool. The goal of this work is to replace the Query Tool with a more advanced, easier to use system. No results derived from NLST data will be published, although it is likely a publication on the informatics infrastructure will result.

      Aims
      1. Maintain current TCIA infrastructure for managing NLST data including the image repository, pathology repository and clinical data repository plus Web Query Tool.
      2. Create a semantic web based Query Tool replacement to improve access to NLST clinical trial data.
