NBIA
- Track for later (not expected this quarter):
- 9.6 (just FYI – Chao working on this) – Update NBIA Client GUI to use the new v4 API. This doesn't include any new GUI functionality. Just replaces the underlying API calls to provide the same GUI experience.
- Complete logging migration steps (db to log files)
- Start strategizing together with the Posda team (to provide requirements) for a release adding support for NIfTI (key steps require input from developers – we can decide in Jira which specific things are feasible this quarter vs in future)
- Develop requirements for what Posda team wants us to collect from PIs about their NIfTI data so that it’s not a nightmare to import, curate and submit to NBIA
- Create an NBIA database table for managing the submitted NIfTI and establish optional versus minimum required metadata we want to track. We can rely heavily on the CBIIT work conducted with input for David Clunie: CDS Imaging Template_Dec22_2023
- Discuss and implement any necessary changes to the NBIA Client GUI
- Modify Data Retriever to properly handle the NIfTI use case
- After we have a smooth process for dealing with controlled access requests again, update NBIA Client GUI to use the new v4 API. Key features:
- Display all available matching data in search results (with filter to toggle to only see things you have access to)
- Add button(s) to launch restricted access requests for anything in your results that you don’t already have permission to see (i.e. submit parameters to the restricted access request form that Jeff is working on so that user name and desired collections are pre-populated)
- Provide support to Julie as needed for transition from tracking metrics with the database to using log files
