I just got off the phone with Paul (Commean) about remaining GUI updates and made a list of all the outstanding issues we identified.
· Things Justin will deal with include providing updated content for
o Share analysis - http://www-dev.cancerimagingarchive.net/tcia/share-analysis-resultsother-data/ (add more content in general)
o Download supporting data - http://www-dev.cancerimagingarchive.net/tcia/download-supporting-data/ (add more content in general)
o What’s new with TCIA text - http://www-dev.cancerimagingarchive.net/tcia/whats-new-with-tcia/ (add info about getting on mailing list or social media)
· Things we expect WUSTL or Jeff will take care of
o All buttons that lead to the NBIA webapp should say “Search the Archive” and have the same color (I prefer the orange version to the black)
o Address mailing list icons – using the G+ icon is confusing and will make people think we’re on Google+. Please point the green icon to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/tcia-announcements/join instead. Don’t worry about the text box via API as we had previously discussed.
o Menu items
§ “Challenge competitions” should just point to https://wiki.cancerimagingarchive.net/x/nYIaAQ
§ Delete “Other Research Projects” – there’s really nothing left aside from the ones we already called out in this menu already
o Right side panel in Wordpress content
§ I questioned whether “Visit TCIA Wiki” makes sense in side right panel. Possibly remove or change to point elsewhere? Let’s discuss tomorrow on the tech t-con.
§ Twitter spacing issue in right panel is displaying strangely and needs to be fixed somehow. It appears that any time a Twitter handle, hash tag, or link is referenced it puts it on its own line
o Wiki
§ Fix issue with all wiki content being italicized (style sheet issue?)
§ Make wiki header/footer match final landing page menus, etc
§ Change collection wiki page verbiage
· Old: You can view and download these images on TCIA by logging in and selecting the TCGA-OV collection. A full listing of the available imaging studies/series for each patient can be found in this spreadsheet:TCGA-OV.XLSX
· New: You can view and download these images on TCIA by clicking [Search the Archive] and selecting the TCGA-OV collection.
· Use the button we’re using on landing pages for consistency
· The second sentence is no longer necessary because people can get the series metadata from within NBIA’s download basket now
