The XIP Host, in addition to its thick client variant, should include a server based variant, which presents its GUI via the web, and which utilizes applications that present web-based GUIs (see issue XIP-79).

Some preliminary work has been done, at least for the back end XIP services, and is available in the XIP code repository. However, that preliminary work did not create a web-based GUI for the XIP Host; it was a GUI-less, event driven server.
